#Christmas Eve dinner at the fire house.
While most people at this time of year complain how busy they are with holiday events and such, my life is actually trending the opposite direction, at least for another week or so.
It’s been a long semester and I’m glad I have a few weeks off of school to regroup and attack another 12 credit hours for the upcoming semester. I’ve still been out flying and as long as the weather holds out I’ll be in the sky at least 2 times a week.
The Christmas holiday was a blast and as a family we have had a great time. It was fun to see all of our family members and catch up with everyone. And of course, I’ve been stuffing my face with tons of food. Good thing we are going to renew our gym membership so I can start swimming again. I’ve tried running – Fail. I’ve tried P90X – Fail. But I love swimming and I am hopeful to drop the extra pounds that I’ve picked up this last month.
Overall, my life is incredibly wonderful. I really can’t ask for anything better. All of my needs have been met and our family is healthy. And that peace of mind is worth more than any kind of monetary compensation.
