Today is Katie’s Birthday!!! She turns 10 today. Started the day taking Gunnar over to his little league football team pictures. After getting those done, I grabbed a couple pieces of wheat bread with peanut butter and we were off to Katie’s soccer game in Heber. After the game we were all starving so we went over to Wendy’s and Melissa and I got Chili and a drink. Not the ideal thing for lunch, but it was the best we could do given the circumstances. After we had made it home, Gunnar and I went on a 7 mile mountain bike ride.
The day ended out with having Grandma Marsha over for Katie’s Birthday dinner – homemade chicken noodle soup (Melissa made the noodles from scratch) and homemade rolls. Of course we all had a slab of chocolate cake with cookies and cream ice cream.
I headed off to AirMed for the night while Melissa and Katie packed for their trip. They’ll be leaving at about 4:30 am to catch their early 7:00 am flight. Grandma Marsha is sleeping over and will help watch the kids until I can get home in the morning.
So as far as diet goes, I did ok. My workout was fun. Riding with Gunnar is always a good time. This week will be challenging to get a workout in since Melissa will be gone and I’ll have Ava and Gunnar to entertain, but I’m sure we’ll figure something out.
